The works to make the future Clean Point of Ciudad Rodrigo a reality are already underway. The company in charge of these tasks is found ⊠starting the first steps to condition the nearly 2,500 square meters who will occupy this service, highly demanded in the town and in part of the Mirobrigense region, since in addition to Ciudad Rodrigo, eleven other municipalities will be able to use this infrastructure: Alba de Yeltes, Aldehuela de Yeltes, La Atalaya, Dios le Guarde, Monsagro, Morasverdes, Sancti-SpĂritus, Serradilla del Arroyo, Serradilla del Llano, TenebrĂłn and Zamarra.
After three attempts, the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Planning of the Government of Castilla y LeĂłn managed to carry out this project, which is part of the renovation plans for the Clean Points promoted by the regional Executive, and will also be the one who will assume the cost of the investment, which will be 458,503 euros, VAT included. The Clean Point will be located in the Terralba industrial estate, at the eastern entrance to MirĂłbriga, a point where work is underway and which will replace the current space.
According to memory, The facility will have a surface paved with a polished concrete slab on gravel with a perimeter enclosure. and will have independent access and exit with six-meter doors and a turning maneuver area. Regarding containers for large volume waste, they will have an appropriate size, providing standard commercial sizes of 10, 20 or 30 square metersapproximately depending on specific needs. The height of the hook, as well as dimensions and masses, must be designed in coordination with the type of transport truck available to the operator. will also be built a protective canopy roofing for materials considered sensitive or dangerous.
On the other hand, they will establish systems to prevent uncontrolled access to facilitiesthrough the installation of video surveillance circuits, and the signage of admissible waste and that necessary for the management of the center will be attached to the façade. The project also stipulates the creation of a thermally insulated control booth, used as an officeâfully equippedâchanging room and toilet, located near the access, which allows the inspection and management activity of the center.
The execution period of the works estimates that their duration will be close to 9 months. It will be at that moment when this demanded service comes into operation.
