They propose a tax reduction for companies that hire above the SMI

The Ministry of Finance has designed a tax incentive to achieve an agreement between the Government and CEOE. The proposed system is very simple, hiring employees above the SMI with tax reductions to encourage this type of contracts.

As indicated by the ministry itself to Europa Press, the tax reduction would compensate 100 percent of the increase in the SMI, from which the companies themselves would directly benefit.

To be more specific, the reduction would be applied to the corporate tax base, applying to companies that have hired personnel above the SMI.

In companies with less than 100 workers, at least one full-time worker must have been hired for one year, while in those with more than one hundred there will be a minimum of two.

Likewise, this reduction will affect different sections gradually, on the one hand the tax reduction will be lower if the increase in the workforce is less than five percent, and from 15 percent if the workforce has increased by 100 percent.
