More than 40 pelotaris participate in Calvarrasa de Abajo in a day of the Castilla y León school championship

The Paladín Club of Salamanca has held a new day of the Castilla y León school handball championship at the Calvarrasa de Abajo fronton, an event that brought together more than forty young pelota players from different parts of the community.

Players from the clubs Golmayo and Urbión (Soria), Reino de León, Jaime Oñate (Valladolid), San Cristóbal (Burgos) and Las Villas (Villoria), as well as the organizing club itself, participated in the competition.

In sports, the day left several champions in the different categories. In Benjamin, the victory went to Markel Beobide and Carlos Borja, while another of the outstanding couples in this category was the one formed by Rafael Escudero, from Club Paladín, and Álvaro, from Club Las Villas.

In the children’s category, Raúl Peque and David Sánchez, from Pájaro, won the victory. For its part, in cadets, the victory went to the Club Paladín couple made up of Stephan Amar and Ferreduela III.

The championship will continue in future days organized by the different participating clubs, and the pelota players who score the most points will be the ones who access the finals, scheduled for the beginning of June.
