The CL-517 highway, popularly known as the Vitigudino highway, It is closed to traffic from 3:40 p.m.according to information from the DGT.
The cut occurred due to a head-on accident between two passenger cars, which this media outlet has already reported, and given the large number of emergency personnel who had to intervene in it, the total closure of the road has been necessary.
Agents from the Civil Traffic Guard have been at the scene since the time of the accident, to regulate the traffic of vehicles, since, as it is a busy road on a daily basis, long delays have quickly occurred.
At the moment, the duration of the road closure is unknown and people who have to travel on the CL-517 are recommended to use other alternative routes to avoid the section that runs from the Parada de Arriba intersection to the town of Vega de Tirados.
In fact, DSA-520 is being used as an alternative route to divert traffic.
