The Guijuelo City Council organizes the III Carnival Competition, which will be held next Tuesday, February 17 in the tent installed in the Plaza Mayor. This year the contest is betting on the theme ‘Marine Fantasy and Iberian Essence’, a proposal that combines creativity, imagination and tradition.
Participation in the contest is free and is open to people of all ages, who can enter individually, as a couple or in a group. Registrations can be made in person at the Guijuelo Cultural Center or through the email carnavalibericoguijuelo@gmail.com, until February 11 at 2:00 p.m.
The contest will have several categories, including the Black Label category, intended for children from 0 to 3 years old; the Red Label category, for participants from 7 to 13 years old; and the Green Label category, aimed at groups.
The winners will receive prizes consisting of Iberian products and purchase vouchers.
