Volunteers from this recently created group have worn the new orange clothing provided by the Junta de Castilla y León and which have been a investment of 3,700 euros by the Peñaranda de Bracamonte City Councilas announced the deputy mayor and councilor for Citizen Security, Fran Díaz, who together with the mayor, Carmen Ávila, and the head of the Local Police, Eugenio Álvarez.
“Today we see that the Peñaranda Civil Protection group is already wearing their summer equipment at this time, although they also have winter equipment, I wanted to thank the volunteers,” said the mayor.
“Civil Protection is a body with a hierarchical structure, it is made up of volunteers, they do it in an altruistic way, they will participate with us in events in which there is a greater influx of people or need, even in emergency situations, in other places it is working very well, we will be coordinated with them through official channels and eager to put it into operation,” said Eugenio Álvarez.
