The 10th Training Week of the San Agustín School continues with an intense academic day focused on the professional orientation of the students

The San Agustín School of Salamanca held this Tuesday the second day of the

Throughout the day, Secondary and Baccalaureate students have participated in various tables and sessions that have addressed key areas for their future, led by university professors, active professionals and former students of the center itself.

Training, vocation and professional opportunities in different areas

Among the sessions held throughout the day, the table dedicated to Nutrition as a science: training and professional opportunities stood out, in which a complete vision of this area has been offered, combining the academic perspective with the direct testimony of students who are currently pursuing these studies.

Likewise, the day included the table “Communicate to connect: marketing, advertising and brand”, which addressed the training process in this area, the strategic role of marketing in organizations and the importance of creativity in the construction of advertising campaigns in the current environment.

The panel “Justice from within: criminal process, execution and reintegration” also took place, focusing on the criminal field, in which students were offered a complete vision of the functioning of the judicial system, the role of the different professional figures and the importance of reintegration as a goal of the penitentiary system.

The value of testimony: former students in the healthcare field

One of the most notable moments of the day was the table dedicated to the health field, in which three former students of the College currently linked to medicine, nursing and pharmacy participated.

This session has had an especially significant value, since the speakers, who a few years ago were in the same situation as the current students, have shared their personal experience, their academic and professional career, as well as the challenges, difficulties and satisfactions they have found along the way.

During their interventions, they have highlighted the importance of vocation, effort and perseverance in a particularly demanding field, but also deeply oriented to the service of others. Likewise, they have offered practical advice to students when it comes to choosing their studies and developing their professional future.

A day focused on accompanying students in their future

Tuesday’s session has highlighted one of the main objectives of the Training Week: to bring students closer to the academic and professional reality from the direct experience of those who already follow that path.

The X Training Week “Teaching by educating” will continue to develop in the coming days with new tables, workshops and sessions dedicated to areas such as technology, communication, education, sociology or languages.

With this initiative, Colegio San Agustín reaffirms its commitment to an education that not only transmits knowledge, but also accompanies students in making fundamental decisions for their future.
