The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued a statement aimed at people with allergies to almonds asking them not to consume ‘Yogur Bífidus Chunks Muesli and Fiber’, sold in Lupa supermarkets, because it contains almonds that are not included on the label.
According to the statement, it was Alteza, Lupa’s own brand, that has alerted the competent authorities of this incident that mainly affects the autonomous communities of Castilla y León and Cantabria where the product has been initially distributed.
The data of the product involved are:

The food agency also indicates that the consumption of this product “does not pose any risk to the rest of the population.”
