After 5:30 p.m. this Tuesday, several fire crews, as well as agents from the Salamanca Local Police, were mobilized at number 26 Villamayor Avenue due to a traffic accident involving a large truck and a car.
Although no medical assistance has been requested for any occupant, the intervention of firefighters has been required to free the driver of one of the vehicles involved, specifically, the car.
The incident, which caused a wide deployment of emergency services, has forced traffic to be cut off on the busy street, even requiring the diversion of several city buses whose route runs along the aforementioned street.
Finally, traffic on Villamayor Avenue returned to normal around 6:20 p.m.
