The festivals of the San José Obrero de Guijuelo neighborhood will be celebrated between Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1, with a program that combines music, tradition and activities for all ages.
The start will be on Thursday the 30th at 11:00 p.m. with a session by DJ Rubén Álvarez in the festive tent. On Friday, May 1, the main day, it will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the Eucharist in honor of San José Obrero and the subsequent procession through the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the El Torreón folkloric group, followed by an honorary wine.
In the afternoon, at 4:30 p.m., there will be inflatables and traditional games for the family audience, and at 7:00 p.m. there will be a solidarity chocolate party with a donation of 2 euros destined for the neighborhood.
According to the City Council, tickets to participate in the chocolate can be collected at the City Hall until April 30.
