Antonio Matilla Funeral
This Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30 p.m., the New Cathedral of Salamanca hosted the farewell funeral of Antonio Matilla, who was dean of the temple between 2019 and 2024.
The ceremony has brought together numerous faithful and ecclesiastical representatives to pay tribute to a fundamental figure in the religious life of the city during recent decades.
In addition to his management in the Cabildo, the deceased left an important legacy as parish priest in the churches of San Sebasti谩n, San Juli谩n, San Mart铆n and La Pur铆sima.
His pastoral work also extended to various municipalities in the province, where he was highly appreciated for his closeness and dedication to the community.
