Sunday resulted in 28 health interventions at the Ciudad Rodrigo Bull Carnival. Of all of them, only one of them required medical transfer to the Salamanca hospital, that of a 25-year-old young man from Navarre, who had a jaw injury caused during the evening bull run.
In the morning celebration, six interventions were necessary, the most striking being a dizziness of a young man who was transferred to the Ciudad Rodrigo health center. The rest were due to different discomforts with discharges on site.
In the fight that takes place later, three interventions were necessary. One of them due to abrasions on the face, others due to burns on the arm and another male with a sprain. In this event, the intervention on a young man from New York for a graze on his hand has drawn attention.
In the last celebration there were four other interventions on men and another two on women, all of them discharged on site by the health services. At the bullfighting festival there have been two more interventions, to a man and a woman, the first of them for an eye discomfort, and the second of them for a trauma to the right shoulder.
