At 8:00 p.m., the Equality Unit read the institutional manifesto for International Women’s Day 2026, under the United Nations motto: “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL women and girls.”
Through the text, we wanted to emphasize the university commitment to real equality and human rights.
The full access of women and girls to education, health, security and a life free of violence has also been defended, as well as demanding justice against structural inequalities such as the wage gap, precariousness or gender violence.
In addition, specific actions have been demanded such as equality plans with resources, evaluation and integration of the gender perspective in teaching, research and management.
Finally, the façade was illuminated.
