The Popular Party of Salamanca wanted to highlight this Tuesday the solidity of the educational model that Castilla y León boasts, endorsed by the PISA Report as a national leader in Reading, Mathematics and Sciences.
During a meeting held with Agustín Sigüenza, the popular members wanted to point out that the results are the consequences and result of stable policies based on excellence and equal opportunities.
One of the pillars that we wanted to highlight is support for rural areas, where the Board guarantees free transportation and dining services.
Likewise, the PP wanted to highlight the free education from 0 to 3 years old implemented this 2025-2026 academic year. This, translated into figures for families, represents a saving of up to 2,000 euros per year.
To this, it should be remembered, we must add the commitment on the part of Mañueco to offer free tuition in the first year of university for residents in the community.
At the regional level, the Popular Party insists on the need to impose a single EBAU throughout Spain to ensure equity. Finally, they concluded by recalling the investment of 31 million euros in the province’s infrastructure.
