The Civil Guard tightens the siege on Álvaro’s crime in Ciudad Rodrigo and will analyze the place where the murder weapon would have been thrown

One year and five days after the death of Álvaro, whose body appeared under a bale of straw with signs of violence on the Cantarranas farm (Ciudad Rodrigo), the investigation has taken a new important step to clarify this crime and tighten the noose on its perpetrator.

As Salamanca24horas.com has learned, the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard is analyzing new technical evidence that has made it possible to obtain crucial information related to the moments before and immediately after the homicide, narrowing down the investigations into the main suspect.

This new stage in the investigation process has allowed investigators to find the place where the murder weapon with which the suspect ended the young man’s life would most likely have been thrown.

Finding this objective is a vital step for the future of the case, since it would surely clarify and provide sufficient evidence to link the perpetrator of the crime perpetrated on January 24 on a farm on the Sanjuanejo highway.

Although the investigation is under summary secrecy, official sources have not specified when this step of the investigation will be carried out, this medium has learned that they will be carried out in the coming days, presumably starting this Friday, once the absence of snow facilitates the work on the ground.

Agents from different specialties of the Civil Guard Corps will travel to the place, who will have all the necessary equipment to recover the weapon, since, according to sources close to the investigation, there is a specific point where there is enough evidence to find the object that served to end Álvaro’s life.
