The Atenea Salamanca association commemorates the World Day of High Intellectual Abilities

The Salamanca Association for Support of High Intellectual Abilities has been trying for years to make visible the lack of help for parents with children with high intellectual abilities, a demand that is becoming increasingly latent, especially for its International Day.

The main objective of the association is to address all the needs in a comprehensive and specific manner of the boys and girls of Salamanca with high intellectual abilities in order to achieve their full personal, emotional and intellectual development.

Thus, the association advises, in addition to guiding with the experience of other family members with similar problems, with teachers and professors who offer information for day-to-day life.

In addition, they also collaborate with public administrations to raise awareness in society about their demands, in addition to promoting research and care programs especially for highly gifted minors.

On the occasion of World High Abilities Day, the Puerta de Zamora will be illuminated this Saturday, March 14, in yellow at the request of the Atenea de Salamanca association.
