This Saturday, February 7, the Plaza Mayor of Ciudad Rodrigo has inaugurated the preparations for the Carnaval del Toro: the assembly of the tablaos, work declared a Site of Cultural Interest, has already begun for its celebration.
Its mayor, Marcos Iglesias, considers it a spectacle how “in just hours or a few days the lifting of this square can be achieved.” He congratulates its editors and hopes it can continue “for many more years.”
This year, the Carnaval del Toro will last from Friday the 13th to Tuesday the 17th.
