The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment has made public the annual call for aptitude tests to obtain professional cards and individual qualification certificates in the field of industrial safety. These authorizations are essential documents to legally carry out regulated activities, since they certify that the professional has the necessary technical competence to carry out installation, maintenance or repair tasks in areas that entail specific risks.
To access these certificates, applicants must pass an official exam and meet prerequisites depending on the specialty, such as having specific qualifications or having completed regulatory training courses. The specialties called in this process include licenses for gas installers in categories A, B and C; installers of liquid petroleum products (categories I and II); installers of thermal installations in buildings; industrial boiler operators; and water installers.
The aptitude tests are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 and will take place simultaneously in the nine provinces of the Community, in the locations that each provincial court previously announces.
The deadline to submit applications will remain open until May 5, 2026 inclusive. The procedure can be carried out electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Administration of Castilla y León or in person at the official records, always using the standardized model. It is necessary to submit an application for each requested qualification, attaching proof of payment of the corresponding fee and documentation that proves compliance with the technical or academic requirements demanded by the regulations.
