This Monday, the province of Salamanca has become one of the points with the most meteorological instability according to the AEMET.
As it appears in the updated records of the State Meteorological Agency, the Salamanca territory has simultaneously managed to sneak into the national rankings of the coldest areas, the rainiest and those that have endured the most violent gusts of wind, mapping the map of a storm that has especially affected the mountain areas and the southwest of the province.
In the ski resort of La Covatilla the thermometers have fallen to -1.8°C at 08:10 in the morning, placing it as one of the coldest points in the country.
The wind, for its part, has also been a protagonist in La Covatilla, positioning it in the national wind speed ranking after registering a maximum gust of 73 km/h at 03:10 in the morning.
To complete this Monday’s list of records, water has made a forceful appearance in the town of NavasfrĂas. This municipality has stood out in the AEMET tables by accumulating 32.8 mm of precipitation until 07:00 in the morning.
