Last year, 2025, Salamanca was positioned as one of the favorite destinations nationally and internationally in Spain, and this is confirmed by the very positive data that has been recorded, increasing travelers by 5.32 percent and overnight stays by .59 percent.
Likewise, it is worth noting that the data collected by the Hotel Occupancy Survey of the National Statistics Institute has also made it clear that in December alone there have been 54.02 travelers, of which a total of 18,181 were of foreign origin.
Likewise, the number of national travelers who have stayed in the city has been 447,345 travelers, 3.5 percent more than in 2024. Of course, 2025 has been the city with the most traveler arrivals, only behind 2019 and 2023.
International travelers, in data, have been 288,201 in 2025, 8.28 percent more than in 2024 and 15.99 percent more than in 2023. In addition, the average stay in the city has been 1.60 nights, with 1.67 being national and 1.49 being international.
