Fall and get up. That is what Salamanca CF UDS is looking for after losing in Coruxo and waiting to receive Numancia this Sunday (5 p.m.). The Sorians arrive at the Helmántico stadium in the middle of an institutional and results crisis.
Salamanca CF UDS begins the day in sixth position, one point from the playoff zone, while Numancia is eighth, three points behind the charros. Despite this, Jorge GarcĂa puts pressure on Numancia: “It is a team that is prepared for everything, whose objective is to be promoted no matter what. They have players of that stature, Juancho, Jony, Dani GarcĂa or HĂ©ctor Peña.”
The Salamanca coach is clear that they must pay close attention to the two starts to avoid trailing on the scoreboard. “We know that in the end, against this type of team that has a lot of quality at the top, we have to have maximum attention at the beginning of the first and second half and that concentration leads us to grow as the minutes go by. We have to appreciate that the rival team also plays and when we lower our concentration, any team penalizes you,” he admits.
Jony stands out in the Soria team. The forward has fourteen goals this season between the Second RFEF and the Copa del Rey and is Numancia’s main offensive bastion.
