The Unionistas reserve team missed a good opportunity to reconnect with their salvation options and tied 2-2 against Atlético Mansillés, playing for an hour with one more player.
The starting eleven of the Unionistas reserve team was made up of Gonzalo in goal; José Manuel, Juan Gouveia, Chucas and Marcos López in defense; Jorge García, Ismael Hernando, Sergio Astudillo and Óscar Cañedo in the midfield; and with Luis Alomar and Óscar Lorenzo in attack.
The charro striker, in youth age, enjoyed the first chance of the match with a strong shot that was saved by the goalkeeper in the 4th minute.
In the 25th minute, a very harsh challenge on Sergio Astudillo ended with a direct red card for an Atlético Mansillés midfielder. And immediately afterwards Unionistas B scored from a corner, with a good header from José Manuel. With a minimal advantage for the locals, the match was reached at half-time (1-0).
The second half was different. The charros came out asleep and conceded 50 seconds into the game. At 1-1, Atlético Mansillés had much more work and Unionistas B got nervous.
The visitors took the lead in the 87th minute with a powerful shot from the edge of the area. And, with everything lost, Óscar Lorenzo rescued a point for Unionistas B with a great free kick. 2-2. Insufficient point for the black and white.
