“I am very satisfied and very proud. Tomorrow I will begin the dialogue”

Alfonso Fernández Mañueco has been euphoric about the results achieved this Sunday in the regional elections.

In front of a partying Alameda Palace packed with media and members of the PP, the noise has grown every time one of the elevator doors near the room was opened. The explosion was complete when the president of the PP of Castilla y León finally appeared and, in response to the euphoria of his people, first asked to speak to the press: “Wait until there is time to celebrate.”

Almost overwhelmed by the presence of the media seeking Mañueco’s first statements, the candidate quickly took the stage to announce that he is “very satisfied with the results and very proud.”

“We have won in Salamanca and in Castilla y León, this is the support of the citizens for the government management that I have presided over and an endorsement of the future project. We are the ones who have grown the most in votes and in seats up to 33 attorneys,” continued the winner of the Castilla y León elections: “we have tripled the distance with the PSOE and doubled the votes for Vox.”

Regarding the pacts, Mañueco has assured that the dialogue will begin tomorrow, “but in Castilla y León there will be a government chaired by the PP, for everyone.” Of course, what has once again made it clear that there will be dialogue with the PSOE, but never an agreement “with Sanchismo”

He thanked all the people who have made “this result possible. Our land has chosen certainties”, but also his family, his colleagues and, above all, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “with whom I just spoke. Thank you president for having toured this community, we will not forget it,” Mañueco stated.

Finally, he said that he eagerly assumes the responsibility of forming a government that “the citizens of Castilla y León have entrusted to me. A government for everyone and thinking of everyone. I have always done it and I always will, because for me and for the PP well-being is above all.”
