If we talk about karate in the province of Salamanca, the name of Kike Nieto could not be forgotten, and the man from Guijuelo has once again brought back three metals after a gold and bronze in the Extremadura Senior and Master Autonomous Championship and a silver in the I National League held in Torrejón de Ardoz.
Last Saturday, March 28, Kike Nieto participated in the Extremadura Senior and Master Autonomous Championship held in Trujillo where he won a well-deserved gold in the Master kata category for 35 to 55 years old, as well as a bronze in Senior Kata.

In the Torrejón de Ardoz competition, Kike Nieto won a silver with a taste of gold after losing a very tight final by 3 to 2, but where he left very good feelings for the future.

Even so, karate himself has indicated that “all this serves as preparation for the next two Spanish championships in which I have been selected with the Castilla y León team” and which will be held on March 27 in Pontevedra and in mid-April in the Master championship of La Nucia Alicante.
