Four students from the University of Salamanca, among the best marks in the MIR entrance exam

Four students from the University of Salamanca and two from the University of Valladolid have achieved among the best grades in the entrance exam to Specialized Health Training, commonly known as MIR.

In this way, six university students from Castilla y León have placed the region at the top of Spain in the exam held on January 24, 2026, and they far exceeded 99.9 percent.

Firstly, we should highlight a student from the University of Salamanca with the first highest grade in Spain in the specialty of Physics, while students from Pharmacy, Nursing and Biology have managed to enter the top ten.

The position, according to the statement collected by the ICAL agency of the Ministry of Health, the incorporations to the different positions will be awarded in the first fortnight of the month of June.
