Arrival of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, to Salamanca

Sergio Mattarella, president of the Italian Republic, is already in Salamanca. Accompanied by an imposing delegation made up of different types of vehicles, among which several minibuses stand out, as well as State Security Forces and Corps and an ambulance, Mattarella has traveled to a restaurant in the city center to enjoy the typical gastronomy of Salamanca.

The President of the Italian Republic has traveled from the Matacán Airport to San Pablo Street, where the hotel where he is going to stay is located, but first passing through the restaurant in the Plaza del Poeta Iglesias.

The reason for Mattarella’s arrival in Salamanca is because this Thursday he will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Salamanca. An event that will be chaired by King Felipe VI and that will take place from 12:00 p.m.
