A man died late this Thursday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle on the N-620 highway, within the municipality of Aldehuela de la Bóveda.
As reported by a spokesperson for the 112 Castilla y León Emergency Service, at around 8:48 p.m. the coordination room received a call alerting of the collision of a man at kilometer 276 of the Salamanca-Portugal highway (N-620), a few kilometers from the urban center of the aforementioned municipality. The same call requested medical assistance for a man who was unconscious after being hit by a pick-up van.
Members of the Civil Traffic Guard have quickly moved to the scene, as well as health personnel in a basic life support ambulance and from the Matilla de los Caños del Río Health Center. However, at the scene they have only been able to confirm the death of the man who was run over.
