Tragic fire in Sayago this Friday. A 79-year-old man has died as a result of a fire in his home in the town of Fermoselle shortly before one o’clock in the afternoon.
The Castilla y León 1-1-2 Emergency Center received a call alerting that there had been found a 79 year old male that it has burned in a house of the town where a fire occurred. According to the alerter, the kitchen is burned and, although there are no longer flames, there is a large amount of smoke.
Troops from the Civil Guard (COS) of Zamorathe Firefighters of the Zamora Provincial Council and staff of Health Emergencies – Sacylwhich sent a medical team from the area and a Emergency Nursing Unit (UEnE).
Upon arrival, the health services confirmed the death of the man, approximately 80 years old, at cause of burns and smoke inhalation.
