The Liceo Theater has dressed up to host the 2nd Young Talent Awards ceremony, an event that has consolidated the University of Salamanca as the main promotion engine for new generations. The event has publicly recognized the most brilliant careers and the projects with the greatest potential for social and economic impact that have been developed within the academic institution.

The event has had top-level institutional support. The vice-rector for Transfer, Federico Bueno de Mata, and the vice-rector for USAL Students, Marta Gutiérrez, attended, and highlighted the importance of these awards to make the students’ efforts visible. Likewise, the president of the Economic and Social Council of Castilla y León, Enrique Cabero, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion of the Salamanca City Council, Pedro Martínez, participated in the delivery.

The presence of these authorities has reinforced the central message of the day about the need to retain local talent and offer real opportunities in the region. During the course of the gala, the winners took the stage and collected their distinctions in an atmosphere of celebration.
