A women was arrested last week by the National Police of Salamanca for committing an alleged crime against property in a clothing store located in the center of the city.
The detainee accessed the area reserved for the establishment’s workers and stole a mobile phone valued at 1,500 euros and a pack of tobacco kept in a locker, as well as a item of clothing with the store label that cost 30 euros. When she was surprised by an employee, she threw part of the loot into the bathroom area.
Agents from the National Police of Salamanca appeared at the place where the employees were holding the woman and they interviewed them. They then identified the alleged perpetrator and found among her belongings a packet of tobacco that was recognized by the owner of the stolen cell phone.
The woman was arrested for an alleged crime of theft and taken to police stations along with the objects that he had extracted and that were delivered to their owners. Subsequently, it was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
