Hiking march in Vilvestre

Vilvestre adds one more hiking march and there are already 30 with the one he started on the morning of this Sunday, March 8.
The Arribes de Duero City Council once again supports this march that brings together hiking and nature lovers every year. On this occasion, around 500 people have joined in to carry out a 13 kilometer route, enjoying an enviable landscape from El Rollo to La Barca within the area of the Las Arribes del Duero Natural Park.
Dressed in sports clothing and with hiking sticks to help with their journey, the participants have set out on the path from the town, with the presence of children and adults, ready to star in another march to remember, having the luck to already be able to witness the flowering of the almond tree, one of the most attractive spectacles in nature that announce the arrival of spring.
The clouds have cleared, allowing for a day with good temperatures to enjoy this route that includes La Garbancera, San Gregorio, Arroyo de Reina, Los Pozos de la Cruz, Matalobos, La Zarza, La Ventosa, El Piélago and El Barrero to La Barca.
In addition, at the end of the tour, the City Council will organize a raffle among all participants with a boat trip for 50 people on the Duero River.
